Colombia is home to over 1,966 bird species, 84 of them endemic, a paradise for bird lovers. Around Hacienda Bambusa alone, you can observe more than 160 species right from your breakfast table, perched among the trees and plantations. During the early months of the year, around 40 migratory species join the resident birds, making sightings even more spectacular.
Wake up early for a guided birdwatching walk led by an expert. You’ll have the chance to spot hummingbirds, tanagers, Andean motmots, and curlews as the hacienda comes to life with birdsong.
Binoculars are provided to help you fully enjoy this unforgettable nature experience.

Let the birdsong and movement guide you through the Hacienda's surroundings and count the different species you'll encounter during a leisurely walk.
9:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. - Return to the hotel for breakfast or dinner.
