Colombian Coffee


Tinto
The famous Colombian "tinto" is a highly concentrated filtered black coffee similar to the American Coffee. A traditional drink that was born several decades ago in the coffee region.


Tinto Campesino
The Colombian "tinto" sweetened with panela, traditionally consumed by our farmers before starting their daily tasks.


Expresso
A coffee-brewing method of Italian origin, with a more concentrated flavor and texture; prepared with Colombian coffee.


Cappuccino
The cappuccino is one of the classic beverages in coffee shops around the world!Who hasn't had a milk mustache while enjoying a cup of foamy cappuccino?


Macchiato

An espresso coffee drink with a small amount of milk, usually foamed. In Italian, macchiato means "stained" or "spotted" so the literal translation is "stained coffee"!


Latte
One of the most traditional ways of drinking coffee by adding fresh milk, usually as part of breakfast at home.


French Press
This is a great option to make a flavorful, full-bodied cup of coffee. Brew your own cup of coffee by just pressing down the filter at your table!

Herbal Tea

Drinking aromatics as a digestive is very traditional in Colombia. At Bambusa we prepare them with aromatic herbs grown in our garden.

Hacienda Bambusa Hot Cocoa
Do not miss the opportunity to try a cup of hot chocolate, prepared out the the cocoa planted and processed at Hacienda Bambusa!

Salpicón

Why try just one fruit when you can have all of them in one glass? Salpicón is a mixture of papaya, watermelon, banana, pineapple and grape in freshly squeezed orange or tangerine juice. Deliciously refreshing! 


Fresh Fruit Platter

Not ready to try a fruit juice mix? Perhaps a fruit plate with a sampling of various fresh fruits is the best option to start your day.

Eggs

The eggs you are about to order are fresh and bought from small producers with eco friendly farms nearby. 


"Huevos Pericos"

A quick and easy egg recipe and one of the most popular breakfast dishes in Colombia which we serve with arepa and cheese. Prepared with scrambled eggs, butter, sauteed diced onions and tomatoes. 


"Con Todo"

Scrambled eggs with all the ingredients that the chef is inspired to add this morning! Chopped onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese or fresh herbs from our garden. 


Benedictine Eggs

With ham and Dutch sauce.

You may add:
Onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, ham, bacon, com or vegetables.


If you are a spicy lover, we grow various peppers in our garden.

Home Made Bread

Basket of bread, freshly baked at Hacienda Bambusa. Served with homemade seasonal jam. 


Cereal with Yogurt or Milk

Order sweet cereal or granola with whole or slim milk.
You may change milk for yogurt or almond milk.


Pancakes

Try our Colombian style pancake with honey. Ask for butter or our seasonal homemade jam! 


Arepa with Homemade Cheese

The "arepa" is an ancestral corn-based food that has transcended time and is present on the Colombian cuisine. 
The cheese is homemade made on a nearby farm.
