Grandma’s hot cocoa

Cocoa Workshop

In Colombia, few drinks are as cherished as hot chocolate with melted cheese and a fresh arepa. A staple at breakfast or "los onces," it’s a tradition rooted in family kitchens.

In this experience, you'll learn to make it the way grandmothers did—starting from cacao beans grown on the Isabela farm. Guided through each step, you'll discover how to craft classic and creative cacao-based drinks.

Begin with a tour of the cacao harvest at Isabela farm, home to Ayda and Eloísa, and explore the fruit’s role in Colombian life. Want to savor their homemade flavors? End the visit with a delightful al fresco lunch!
