TOURS AROUND THE REGION
Botanical and Butterfly Garden
The Quindío Botanical Garden, a sanctuary for regional plants and flowers, is located just 45 minutes by car from Hacienda Bambusa. Besides being a haven for nature enthusiasts and a place to deepen their botanical knowledge, this place is devoted to the study and conservation of native plants of Colombia.
Enjoy a guided tour with a bird, plant, and insect specialist and enjoy a 2-kilometer walk. You may ascend up the observation tower at the end of the walk to get a bird's-eye view of the garden. You may additionally enjoy the carnivorous plants exhibition.
Lastly, you will continue on to the Butterfly Garden, which is a dome designed as a butterfly and has 1,500 species flying all around. A vibrant butterfly may settle on your shoulder, so stay still and remain silent!
